Ongoing assessments
The assessment of national and regional forest certification systems, carried out by independent professionals, ensures these systems meet our international requirements.
There are three types of assessment:
- Assessment of a new system for first time endorsement
- Assessment of a revised system to maintain endorsement
- Assessment of a reaffirmed system to maintain endorsement
An important aspect of the assessment process is the global public consultation. This is your chance to give your feedback on any aspect of the system. You can find all the open public consultations here.
