PEFC Training Recognition Programme: upcoming Initial Sessions – register now!
27 July 2020 Training announcements
Certification body representatives and trainers are invited to register for one of our upcoming online Initial Sessions, as part of the PEFC Training Recognition Programme.
This Initial Session is the first phase for certification bodies wishing to get their internal PEFC chain of custody training programme recognized by PEFC, through the PEFC Training Recognition Programme (TRP).
Once your internal training programme is approved, you will be able to train your personnel to carry out audits against the 2020 PEFC Chain of Custody standard.
If you want to find out more about the PEFC TRP, including the benefits, what you need to do in order to achieve recognition and fee structure, please see the TRP section of our website.
The details
We are holding two Initial Sessions, both are online and over three half-days:
- 31 August, 1, 2 September 2020, 17:00 to 20:00 CEST
- 7, 9, 11 September 2020, 14:00 to 17:00 CEST
These sessions will focus on the TRP requirements, and a technical calibration for the 2020 standards. They will also provide you with the information needed to start preparing your internal training programme.
Following this training, you will be able to develop and apply for approval of your internal training programme. Once approved, you can provide internal PEFC training to your own auditors, reviewers and certification decision makers.
Check out the TRP section of our website for more details on the TRP process.
Who should attend the session?
It should be attended by your certification body representative for the TRP (see TRP Guidelines, section 6.1). Certification body representatives shall be technical experts familiar with PEFC certification. They will be the main contact point for the programme recognition and will coordinate with PEFC International. Certification body trainers are also invited to join.
If you have not yet identified your certification body representative, more than one potential candidate can attend. However, your certification body representative must be in place before you apply for participation in the TRP and the person must have attended an Initial Session.
