The PEFC EUDR DDS standard module: consultation and information webinar

There is still one month to go for you to give your feedback on the new PEFC EUDR DDS standard module, deadline for comments is 7 May 2024. To get an introduction to this new module, watch our recent webinar recording or join us on 24 April for the next PEFC information webinar.

We developed the PEFC EUDR Due Diligence System (DDS) to help our PEFC chain of custody certified organisations comply with their EUDR obligations.

This voluntary tool will be easily integrated within the current PEFC chain of custody processes, with companies deciding whether they implement the ST 2002 chain of custody DDS or replace it with the PEFC EUDR DDS, at product group level.

An introduction to the PEFC EUDR DDS standard module

We held a special information webinar, open to everyone, on 27 March, to introduce the PEFC EUDR DDS and answer your questions. 

We were joined by hundreds of interested stakeholders, including chain of custody certified companies and certification bodies, who asked our PEFC EUDR experts dozens of questions. We will shortly update our PEFC EUDR FAQ document to cover the key questions received during the webinar. 

If you missed the webinar, we will be holding it again at 10:00 and 16:00 CEST on 24 April. The webinar is one hour and will include an open questions and answers session. Please note, you only need to register for one webinar.

The consultation

Public consultations are a vital part of the development process of our standards. They are when you can read the draft standard, make your comments, and give direct feedback. Every comment made will get an answer.

The consultation closed on 7 May 2024.
