“Consumers are increasingly demanding that the products they buy come from sustainable sources,” said Mr. Gunneberg. “By choosing PEFC-certified materials, brand owners can use the globally recognized PEFC logo, satisfying consumers’ expectations for responsibly produced products.”

Sustainable Brands London will bring together almost 500 thought leaders, brand innovators, designers and global business leaders to explore various topics and issues relating to sustainability. Through a combination of plenary sessions, workshops, the Activation Hub and networking events, the conference is designed to benefit everyone from NGOs and small business owners, to CEOs and global brand leaders.

Following Sustainable Brands, PEFC will be heading to the edie Sustainability Leaders Forum on Thursday 19 November at London’s Russel Square hotel.

The annual Sustainability Leaders Forum, now in its 9th year, brings together ambitious international business professionals looking to move beyond environmental objectives; deliver transformational change in society and create more value within their organisation.

With new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) being announced in September and a new global climate deal set to be agreed in Paris in December, the 2015 edie Sustainability Leaders Forum offers a unique opportunity for businesses to consider the long-term challenges that lie ahead and consider how new business models, innovations and collaborations can help to future-proof operations.
