PEFC Collaboration Fund: Calling on innovators in the forest sector!
17 April 2018 Collaboration Fund
Help us to inspire purposeful innovation within forest certification! We are looking for technology solution providers to join forces with our members as they apply for the 2018 PEFC Collaboration Fund. The Fund's Call for Proposals is open until 11 May.
This year, our Collaboration Fund is all about pioneering the application of technology and innovation within forest certification. From ambitious solutions to make certification more accessible for smallholders, to creating innovative approaches for auditing and data collection, and things that even we cannot yet envision...
While project proposals must be submitted by a PEFC member, there is a critical role for you as a technology provider.
This is a chance to develop, test, or scale up innovative solutions within the context of forest certification, to interact with PEFC members and access funding, up to 50,000 CHF per proposal, through the Collaboration Fund!
Technology and Innovation Platform
This is where our Technology and Innovation Platform comes in. Designed to connect potential partners, encouraging cooperation and facilitating ongoing discussions on the topic of technology and innovation in forest certification.
Are you interested in partnering in a 2018 Collaboration Fund project proposal? Then we want to hear from you! To join the platform, simply fill out the registration form and we will add you to the online community.
The platform will also continue to bring partners together once the Call for Proposals is over. Whether you are looking for opportunities to pilot test your solution within PEFC, or simply general interaction and discussion with PEFC and partners on innovation, sign up now to get involved.
If you have any queries, let us know at development@pefc.org, you can also find more information in our Call for Proposals.
The PEFC Collaboration Fund
Our Collaboration Fund is a competitive small grants program designed to encourage locally relevant developments in the sustainable management of forests.
Through the Fund, we seek to support efforts to advance sustainable forest management and forest certification around the world by members and partner organizations.
PEFC members are eligible to apply and must be the main project applicant. Project partners may include all kind of organizations, including private and public sector organizations.
Proposals can request a contribution of up to 50,000 CHF and can have a maximum project time frame of 3 years. The fund will support new and additional activities rather than existing, ongoing work and running costs.
