PEFC at full force for Asia-Pacific Forestry Week

19 February 2016 News

Collaboration is at the top of the agenda as we travel to the Philippines next week for the 2016 Asia-Pacific Forestry Week (APFW). Come and join us and all our members from the region as we discuss solutions to address pressing forestry issues in Asia-Pacific.

Taking place from 22-26 February in the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, APFW is one of this year’s largest and most important forestry gatherings in the region. Organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the need for society to proactively integrate forestry into the wider context of sustainable development is set to be the main theme of APFW 2016.

PEFC at the APFW

The PEFC delegation will include representatives from PEFC International, our National members from Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan and Malaysia, a number of International Stakeholder members, and partners from throughout the region.

We will be co-hosting two stream events, helping to contribute towards the deliberations of the APFW. We look forward to welcoming you at these events or meeting you at the PEFC Booth, located in the main exhibition area in the Fontana Resort. See you there!
