10 May 2022 PEFC Stakeholder Dialogue

Our Stakeholder Dialogue is already tomorrow, and we are looking forward to welcoming our members, stakeholders and partners for this day of exchange, discussions and networking.

One of the speakers at the event will be Per Bogstad, Forest Positive Manager of Kingfisher Plc. The international home improvement company counts over 1,400 stores, and is a supporter of our Stakeholder Dialogue.

In his speech, Per will speak about Kingfisher's "Forest Positive" commitment. Ahead of the event, he gave us a sneak peek into his main responsibilities, the company’s impressive sustainability journey, and the role that forest certification will play in it.

"I am the company’s first Forest Positive Manager. As such I am responsible for driving the delivery of Kingfisher’s Forest Positive commitments," he explained.

“We are committed to ensuring 100% of the wood and paper used in our products is sourced from certified, well managed forests or verified as recycled by 2025,” he continued.

“I’m delighted to say that we got to 87.2% across the group last year. Getting from 87.2% to 100% by 2025 will involve working hard with suppliers and supply chains. PEFC will be a fundamental part of achieving that.”
