Launch of the PEFC Label Generator

PEFC has launched a new Label Generator to make it easier and quicker for companies, forest owners and uncertified entities to create PEFC labels. This easy-to-use, intuitive tool creates PEFC labels in a matter of minutes and provides everything needed to put a PEFC label on products or promotional materials.

As globally trusted marks, the use of the PEFC logo and labels enables certified companies and forest owners to:

• demonstrate their commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility
• attract environmentally and socially-minded customers and consumers
• help generate awareness and demand for products from PEFC-certified forests
• highlight their engagement with sustainable forest management

Uncertified entities - such as NGOs, media and educational organizations - can also use the PEFC logo and labels for the purpose of educating, informing or promoting PEFC certification and sustainable forest management.

Demand for PEFC certification has increased constantly over the past years, with ever more companies recognizing the value of sourcing responsibly, and demonstrating this to their customer and consumers by using the PEFC label.
