This May, we hear from Rico Yulianto, a runner up in our 2018 ‘Experience Forests, Experience PEFC’ photo contest.
In his video, Rico tells us what inspired him to take his photo ‘Dusk Rainbow’ and why forests are so important for our Earth.

“My photo captures the beauty of a dusky rainbow across a shallots plantation surrounded by forests,” Rico explains. “It shows that land can be managed to be useful for both people and animals.”
“We must protect the forests in this world for our children and grandchildren, and for the future of this Earth,” he continues. “Thank you very much PEFC/IFCC for maintaining and conserving forests for the ecosystem on this Earth.”
