Dalston Lane: PEFC-certified timber stars in award winning residential building

Nearly 34 metres high, Dalston Lane in London is one of the world’s largest load-bearing building made of cross laminated timber (CLT). Using PEFC-certified CLT, it removes more CO2 from the atmosphere than it adds to it.

PEFC-certified glued laminated timber and cross laminated timber were used for the entire supporting structure. The wood used for the furniture, doors, floors and decoration gives the rooms a warm atmosphere and a natural scent.
