FINSA HOME: online store for PEFC-certified kitchens, laminate flooring

FINSA HOME, one of the UK’s premier distributors of DIY kitchens and laminate floorings, recently launched the first online store dedicated to supplying only PEFC-certified products.

With almost 90% of the wood-based products in its catalogue PEFC certified, FINSA HOME is one of the few DIY chains in Europe with PEFC chain of custody certification. Its products are manufactured using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. The company supplies both directly to the general public, as well as to traders and fitters.

Commenting on the decision to extend its retail business from the showroom to the creation of an online portal for the sale and distribution of PEFC-certified products, Rafael Willisch, FINSA UK Managing Director explained, “Responsible forestry has been at the heart of FINSA’s environmental policy for years. Over the last 10 years FINSA UK has distributed hundreds of thousands of tonnes of PEFC-certified wood-based panels in the UK. A wide list of building merchants and furniture manufacturers have benefited over the years from this regular supply of PEFC-certified wood products.”

FINSA is now one of a small select group of furniture manufacturers in Europe who manage the complete life cycle of their goods from their own sustainably grown forests to the delivery of new FINSA HOME kitchens and laminate floorings directly to the customers’ doorstep. Thanks to this comprehensive control of its supply chain, FINSA is in a perfect position to maintain the most stringent control of its chain of custody.
