Auditor training
Experienced auditors, reviewers, and certification decision makers are invited to register for a PEFC recognised chain of custody refresher training on 28 October 2024.
Following the publication of the PEFC EUDR DDS module standard, this training includes an optional PEFC EUDR DDS session on 29 October.
This refresher training is designed for qualified PEFC auditors, reviewers or certification decision makers who wish to maintain their qualification to issue certification against the 2020 PEFC chain of custody related standards, as required by PEFC ST 2003.
The details
The training takes place online on 28 October, from 9:00 to 17:45 IST. The optional PEFC EUDR DDS session takes place the following morning, from 10:00 to 12:00 IST.
This training will cover the latest PEFC chain of custody updates according to Chain of Custody Guidance for Use, PEFC GD 2001 while the optional session will cover the PEFC EUDR Due Diligence System, PEFC ST 2002-1:2024.
Attending the optional session will equip auditors with the knowledge they need to help companies transition to the new DDS module standard, which is a pathway to EUDR alignment.
Before the training, participants are expected to read the related PEFC standards. Participants will also be provided with case studies in advance of the training and will need to provide their answers to the trainers.
The training will be given by PEFC International Technical Expert Richard Laity and will be held in English.
