Ekwato is an efficient digital solution to manage and monitor timber products purchasing policies.

Intended for both buyers/importers and suppliers/exporters, this tool is a SaaS platform with all the necessary features to meet internal, normative and regulatory requirements (EUTR and EUDR) for the timber products supply chain: automated collection of documents from suppliers, automated and real-time risk analysis, risk mitigation measures, geolocation of forests of origin up to DDS (Due Diligence Statement).

Customisable by each company (SMEs, manufacturers, distributors), EKWATO offers a turnkey DDS (Due Diligence System) - multi-site, multi-user and multilingual (French, English, Spanish).

For suppliers/exporters, the tool offers a secure platform to let their clients download documents and geolocation data in order to let them do their own DDS at any time they want.

Available modules

  1. COLLECT: automated collection of documents from wood suppliers, with free access to the platform for wood suppliers.
  2. RISK: customized, automated, real-time decision tree risk analysis for each wood product, including illimited components by product and risk reduction measures; the dashboard shows the evolution of the risk level by wood product and day by day.
  3. SHARE: making documents and data geolocation available to customers on a dedicated, secure platform, 24 hours a day, in order to let them do their own DDS.
  4. SOURCE: geolocation of forest parcels (manually or imported from a Geographic Information System - GIS) to be linked with wood products; DDS (Due Diligence Statement) required by EUDR (appendix 2).
  5. TAG: phone application to get information of the wood product directly on the phone by scanning the bar-codes of the product, including geolocation of the forest used for this product.
