The details
The training takes place on 8 December and participants can attend virtually or in-person.
The training will provide an introduction to the revised 2020 PEFC Chain of Custody standard, focusing on the changes to the input-output process, the PEFC Due Diligence System (DDS), the chain of custody methods and multi-site certification. It will also cover changes to the 2020 PEFC Trademarks standard and 2020 Certification Body Requirements standard.
Before the training, participants are expected to read the 2020 versions of the PEFC standards, along with the summary of changes. These can all be found on our website. Participants will also be provided with case studies in advance of the training and will need to provide their answers to the technical expert.
The training will be given by PEFC International Technical Expert Simon Dorries and will be held in English.
The participation fee for the refresher training is $400 AUD.
