The assessment of national and regional forest certification systems, carried out by independent PEFC Register Assessors, ensures these systems meet our international requirements.
Here you can find all the national and regional systems currently undergoing the PEFC assessment process. We have arranged the systems so you can see where they are in the assessment process. At the bottom of the page, you can see the systems that have most recently completed the process and are in full compliance with the PEFC requirements.
Systems submitted for assessment
The PEFC national member has submitted the documentation to start the assessment process. The public webinar to present the system is scheduled or completed. The date of the webinar marks the start of the 60-day public consultation.

Systems awaiting mutual recognition
The assessment process has been completed and the system is awaiting approval by the PEFC General Assembly (new systems/standards only).
No systems awaiting mutual recognition.
Systems with initial or conditional endorsements
The final report from the Registered Assessor has been delivered with conditions attached to the endorsement recommendation. The system has been granted initial or conditional endorsement, pending the completion of the conditions by a specified date.
